AgriFutures Australia is seeking applications from suitably qualified individuals for the position of Chair of the Honey Bee & Pollination Program Advisory Panel. Applications are now open and close on Tuesday, 8 June 2021
The Advisory Panel consists of people with a range of skills and experience in the research, commercial honey production, or commercial pollination service provision within the honey bee industry, together with one representatives from AgriFutures Australia.

The Chair of the Honey Bee & Pollination Advisory Panel is a pivotal role in providing guidance and governance into the function of the panel thereby, providing both Agrifutures and the industry with the confidence that the RD&E investment program is delivering against industry priorities and value to levy payers.

It is desirable for this role to have formal qualifications in governance (for example Company Director’s Course™ or equivalent), with a comprehensive experience in team management and strong interpersonal skills. Experience or knowledge of the honey bee industry is preferable but not essential, however must demonstrate a genuine commitment to the AgriFutures Honey Bee & Pollination Program and engagement with AgriFutures Australia.
Applicants are required to complete the Smarty Grants application form and attach their CV (no longer than three pages) and provide two references.
As part pf the application process, applicants will be required to outline relevant experience in the Australian agricultural sector and expected contribution to the Advisory Panel.
